Julio joined Veritas in 2024 with more than 32 years of medical experience. He began as a paramedic, then transitioned into nursing and spent 14 years working in the emergency room.
After becoming a certified nurse practitioner in 2020, Julio continued caring for patients in emergency and urgent care settings. That breadth gives him a practical view of how symptoms, health history, medications, and risk fit together.
Outside the clinic
He understands an active life firsthand.
Julio stays active through CrossFit, powerlifting, gymnastics, and jiu-jitsu. He brings that lived understanding of training, recovery, and sustainable performance into his conversations with patients—without reducing health to a single number.
